Also known as dice, the outcome of this game relies on
the players to bet the outcome of each roll of the dice.
Common terminology
for this game includes:
Pass Line:
On the "Come Out Roll",
you win on 7 or 11, and lose on 2, 3, or 12 (Craps). Any other number becomes
your "point" which must be thrown before a 7 to win.
Don't Pass:
The exact opposite of the Pass Line. Bar 12.
Come Bets:
At any time after
the point is established, you may wager on the "Come Line". The next
roll thrown becomes your "Point" and the same rules for the pass line
apply.
Don't Come:
The exact opposite to the Come Bet. Bar 12.
Field:
A one roll bet paying even money if following numbers are rolled: 2,3,4,9,10,11,and
12. (2 & 12 pay 2 to 1)
Odds: A player may take double "odds"
on all pass line and come bets.
4 & 10 pays two to one
5 & 9
pays three to two
6 & 8 pays six to five
Proposition Bets: One roll
bets.
Hardways: A bet made on 4,6,8, or 10 that must come in a pair (example:
8 must be 4 & 4)
Place Bets: 4 & 10 pays nine to five
5 &
9 pays seven to five
6 & 8 pays seven to six
Buy Bets: Pre-pay a
5% commission and receive true and correct odds on all place bets.
